LeeEllen Carroll brings a flair for strategy and a bent for achievement to all facets of Thornley Fallis. A communications leader with an aptitude for accomplishment, her resourceful and productive approach allows her to provide clients with enhanced counsel, direction and services- especially in the most challenging of circumstances.

LeeEllen started her career in network television as a news producer. She spent five years with ABC News in London, England, and then worked with CTV National News upon her return to Canada. During her tenure as Manager of CTV’s Parliamentary Bureau, she was the architect of landmark network television agreements and Executive Producer of the Leaders' Debates in 2000. She has travelled extensively to cover Canadian Prime Ministers abroad as well as criss-crossed the country reporting on national issues.

In the pressure-cooker environment of 24 hours news, she became a master of juggling a myriad of moving parts while maintaining an art for diffusing stress. Recognized as an excellent communicator, negotiator and project manager, LeeEllen is a big picture thinker who thinks seven steps ahead. She is a positive, motivational leader.

A media spokesperson and experienced executive trainer, her media relations expertise is among the best in the industry. She has been a resource to many of the country’s top journalists, developing and promoting newsworthy client stories. For clients seeking to improve corporate profile and brand awareness, Ms. Carroll delivers measurable results, often exceeding client expectations. LeeEllen is known for her meticulous planning of creative, high profile videos and events, executed on-time and on-budget.

LeeEllen Carroll is a graduate of York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Honours), with Political Science major. She also studied at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where she graduated with a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism (Magna Cum Laude). Throughout her career, she has engaged herself in numerous professional development and training programs in project management, strategic communications, media relations, writing skills, television production skills, and conflict management. She has also presented on the view from behind the camera, crisis communications, expectations management, media training, video production and on working with broadcast media in both government and corporate environments. Without a doubt, she has a deep understanding of what it’s like to work both sides of the microphone.
